Dreams Do Come True....
Award winning Actress/Producer/ Director, Reece Odum, is a rising star to the television and film industry. In a short time her career is one to be reckoned with, as she has worked along side some of the heavy hitters in the industry. Even with several films and TV shows under her belt, like most actors she still has very high career goals and many more actors / producers/ directors that she plans on working with in the near future. She has added to her producing credits with the new hit film on Peacock THE PASS, where she served as one of the producers and as apart of the amazing ensemble cast.
During her acting career Odum has had the opportunity of completing several film and television projects where she performed in a lead or principal role. She recently landed a new recurring role on AllBlk's hit tv show Kold x Windy, and has past roles on shows like "The Vampire Diaries" now on Netflix, and "Saints and Sinners" now on Hulu. Some of her more recent films and television shows include: Peacock's hit film The Pass, BMF on Starz season 4, Impact TV's The Life of Me, The Pros of Cons on Tubi, He Who Findeth on Tubi, BET's I Got A Story to Tell, and so many more.
Reece prides herself on making sure she always gives back. As an actress, she wants to be that voice for the voiceless, and she has done just that. Reece has definitely made a name for herself as an Actress and a Producer in her home city of Atlanta. In March 2016, she was honored by the Georgia State Senate for her efforts to increase awareness of the need for minorities to become registered organ and tissue donors, as the lead actress and one of the producers on the film The Wish. In 2017, Donate Life America and Life Link of Georgia recognized Reece for her continued efforts for this cause as well. October 2017, she and the producers of the film, The Last Time, were also recognized for their efforts to bring awareness to Domestic Violence. In 2020 she had her Directorial Debut directing the artist DKOMX's "Movin On" music video.
While Reece never intended to be apart of these films for the accolades, she truly is honored to be recognized for making a difference in the community doing what she loves to do, "storytelling".
